Your Skin Talks to You
The first thing that stands out when I type into Google “Best Natural Face Moisturizer for Acne Prone Skin” is the amount of creams I get in the ads section.
Ok, Google… so, how good are they? Will they do the job they’re set to do? Most importantly: are they harmless and PERFECT for my particular type of skin?
And, finally, am I well aware as well as informed about the different types of moisturizers for my particular type of acne?
Using Products that are Good for You
Sure, you might think: well, it happens to all of us at some stage. But, does it, really? I know people who have been treating their skin with honour and respect since they were young, somehow they always seemed to be ‘in tune’ with what their bodies needed in order to stay healthy.
I’m assuming that this could be directly related to our own self-esteem: if I don’t feel good about myself (another way of saying: if you don’t love yourself), I simply will not use the products that are good for my skin.
Your skin should be venerated as if it was a divine tool (it is!). A well-taken-care-of body is a well-taken-care-of-mind and soul. It shows you’re on your way to soul evolution, maturity, self-love, and, best of all, to consciously be able to ‘BE’ with yourself. To stay tuned, checking in with yourself as needed, listening and glowing, all at the same time.
Beautiful!
For those of you who can listen to what your body needs and like to spend money in products that make sense to your skin, here we look at which are the best organic moisturizers for acne prone skin and/or oily skin.
Natural Moisturizer for Acne Prone Skin
First, we will look at what acne is. Don’t skip it – you’ll need to learn the basics that make these options the ones we chose for this article. Once you understand why you need these types of moisturizers you’ll be able to decide whether you’ll like to create your own or buy one available on the market.

There are two groups of people who will probably benefit from this article:
1. People who like to create their own homemade moisturizer2. People who prefer to buy an organic option available on the market
It is hard to know which one is best for you if this is the first time you’re getting your moisturizer for acne prone skin. My advice is try both. Make your own and buy one you think will be good for you. Compare and make your decision. Nothing works better than data + your own experience. Nothing!
Organic Products can Change Your Life
When you read through each you’ll hopefully know which option and method/cream within each one resonates more with your personality as well as what you can afford.

Learning About Acne
At this point I think it is important to ask ourselves what exactly is acne and why does it come about.
Acne is a chronic disorder (meaning it lasts a long time) where we see an increase in sebum secretion (oil produced by glands in the skin), characterised by what we commonly call blackheads (open clogged hair, air causes oxidization turning it black) and whiteheads (clogged hair closed by skin).
Acne is more severe in some people than in others. Doctors distinguish between mild, moderate and severe forms of acne. There are also inflammatory and non-inflammatory types of acne. Non-inflammatory acne is a milder type, which most people would refer to as “pimples” or “blackheads” rather than “acne”.

Organic Moisturizer for Acne Prone Skin
The girls at thebestorganicskinscare, com recommend using facial oils instead of the traditional moisturizer. We wanted to find a moisturizer instead and decided get down and dirty researching til we found what we were looking for (moisturizers well worth it!). I think we succeeded, hope you agree.
Our first chosen product is an organic one but the other two are natural products (different to organic in that they haven’t been certified as organic). We felt that these were better options for acne prone skin.

IMPORTANT! Once you make your decision, and before applying, please read instructions below:
1. Applying the moisturizer
It is important that before applying to take into account the following:
- Don’t use your fingertips when applying in order to get the right dose of moisturizer straight from the jar – a set of brand new ice cream sticks do fine and should last you for months
- Apply your moisturiser appropriately by massaging carefully into the skin. Be gentle around delicate areas like acne prone surfaces (don´t rub excessively onto them!)
- Once the moisturizer has been applied, tap your skin gently but firmly, especially over your cheeks and forehead as this will activate blood vessels helping the cream be absorbed evenly
2. The Wholeness Treatment
ohmightyhealth.com is about holistic health. Buying the right cream will help you to a certain extend IF AND ONLY YOU ARE READY to activate from within (yes, unleash) the power these ingredients have. Their potency depends on your own potency, meaning that if you’re not ready within to let the ingredients heal you (for reasons not covered in this article but will do so at some point on this site) then they simply won’t work.
You will ‘cream hop’ from brand to brand looking for the perfect natural or organic moisturizer for acne prone skin without achieving the results you’re expecting (wellness).
The same applies when this concept is turned around: if you’re ready to get well, the perfect organic/natural moisturizer will find you 🙂
Anyway, in order to get the process started (at least understanding we have to be ready to a certain extent to activate these ingredients), here’s what I suggest you do:
- STEP 1: An intimate prayer with yourself. Set time aside (even 1 to 3 minutes will probably be enough) to ask yourself WHY do you want to be ‘gentle’ with your acne by using the best organic moisturizer. Is it because you’d like to look beautiful (attractive) to an external world full of people that could judge you? Is it because someone said something about your skin some time ago that has lingered and you have judged your skin yourself? Have you been seen by a specialist in order to get a proper diagnostic, and, if not, why not? Etc. The answers will come if you set the intention of finding out what lurks behind the ‘obvious’ reasons (like ‘having a healthy skin’).INSTRUCTIONS: Set aside 1 to 3 minutes daily in your findings until some Truth ‘clicks’ within. You will know when it does. Once it is recognised, we can proceed to do step 2 below.
- STEP 2: Healing the REAL reasons. Knowledge from step 1 will determine what to do next. Depending on your findings regarding the REAL REASONS why you want to use creams to be gentle with this condition, you’ll proceed accordingly here. We will elaborate an intimate prayer this time directed towards the REAL ill. INSTRUCTIONS: Set aside 1 to 3 minutes every day, for 30 days, asking for the real ill to be treated accordingly. After 30 days assess the situation, see if you need to extend this prayer further (let’s say another 15 days).
- STEP 3: To do every time you apply the moisturizer. You can start using the moisturizer from the moment you do step 1. The only thing we ask is that before applying (and every time you apply it) you’ll need to spend 2 to 5 seconds giving thanks because this Wholeness Treatmentis working (even if you haven’t seen results yet). Once you’ve given thanks (in whichever form you like: thought / spoken word – a full sentence will probably have more potency) you’re ready to apply the moisturizer.
*Let me know how you get on in the comments below*
Final Thoughts
I hope the above has helped you make a good decision. There are other websites that can help you further in terms of looking at each ingredient and understanding how the products work against your skin, but we felt that these particular products are great because of the ingredients and excellent price range.
Please leave in the comments what you think of the products and if you did follow my advice on ‘The Wholeness Treatment’. If so, what happened? I’m all ears xx
