Impact your future by making one change in the present.
When you choose to make a change, you take a step towards a better future and may discover things about yourself that you didn’t know before.
For example, you may realize that you’re happier being married to someone who shares your passion or that you become more productive when you work out every morning.
This blog post lists 22 possible changes for the better.
Choose from the following to do this week:
1 I will cook my meals at home this week (no takeaways!)
2 I will double the amount of water I drink!
3 I will try vegan-only or vegetarian-only this week
4 I will add greens to my meals every day
5 I will eat one piece of fruit every day this week
6 I will ditch ALL processed foods this week
7 I will pamper myself in the evenings
8 I will cut half of the sugar out of my diet
9 I will stop drinking alcohol
10 I will visit at least one friend this week
11 I will clean out my closet/desk/pantry
12 I will go to bed a little earlier every day this week or take a nap or lie in the bathtub
13 I will exercise for 20 minutes, 3 times a week. I can do yoga, running, biking, swimming, etc…
14 I will read a book instead of being on the computer tonight. I will read at least one chapter.
15 I will listen to relaxing or uplifting music every day this week.
16 I will go out for a walk every day this week.
17 I won’t use the car at all this week. I will walk or take the bus instead.
18 I will spend more time outside doing some gardening, having a picnic in the park, having a bonfire or going for a walk in the woods.
19 I will put a smile on this week!
20 Dance!
21 I will be myself. I will dress like I want to and not according to what is expected by the latest fashions and trends.
22 I will give an hour of my time to volunteer for something I believe in.
23 I will play with my pet a lot more this week
As you can see, small changes can lead to large ones!
In the following week, you’ll discover so much about yourself, your strengths, weaknesses and how you want to live your life.
This is by no means an exhaustive list of all the things that you could, it just illustrates the point: You can make a profound impact on your future by making 1 change in the present.
