Best Knee Pain Relief Products: Natural Remedies that Work

I write so you share. Thank you.

Here’s another article for my knee pain relief series, this time looking at the best knee pain relief products. While doing my research I found some knee braces and compression sleeves for support which I’ll cover below but mainly I’d like to look at how natural products (and a few home remedies) can help.

The series cover the formula for my own cream for knee pain, which I made with some of the herbs mentioned below (Arnica, Devil’s Claw and St. John’s Wort). We’ve been using the cream for around a month now, as well as a tincture (alcohol based) made with Rosemary amongst other herbs (which we bought at my suppliers here in Tenerife). We’ve gone from walking like badly oiled tin robots (each step seemed to take forever) to virtually stiffness-free, knee-pain free women.

This is a total success. Before our natural treatment, every time we sat down for a few minutes we would suffer from terrible stiffness around the knee/joint and uncomfortable pain which really slowed us down when walk for the first 2 minutes or so. We feel we’ve gone almost back to normal now! There’s still a little of an uncomfortable feeling around the knees a few seconds after standing up (nothing like before!) but we’ll just continue using the cream and exercising as and when.

I’ve also written an article on herbs for joint pain which include a few home remedies and an essential oils for knee pain article.

Some Home Remedies for Arthritis, Aches & Pains in Joints

While browsing my herbal books for information and ideas, I came across some home remedies that can be applied at home easily. Take a look at the below.

Sage Compress or Cabbage Poultice to Calm Inflamation

Other Knee Pain Relief Related Products: Braces, Sleeves & Straps

We don’t use any extra support but maybe this is something we can look into in the future. I definitely would need to wear one of these if my pain was sport-injury related, which is not. I was quite impressed by some of the braces, sleeves and straps below – worth taking a look if you’ve been thinking of some extra support.

Pillow

Lynn does use a pillow between her legs every now and then, and I know it helps as I’ve also seen other people do the same. I can’t say I’ve found myself needing the pillow, here’s one from Amazon that seems to do a nice job of it because of its shape.
