Micellar water is a gentle, no-rinse cleanser that effortlessly removes dirt, oil, and makeup without disrupting your skin’s delicate balance and it is OH-SO-EASY to make! Below I give you the recipe.
The addition of aloe vera provides an extra dose of hydration and nourishment.
Honey, here’s how to make your DIY micellar water!💧🌿
- 1 cup distilled water
- 1 tablespoon rose water
- 1 tablespoon aloe vera juice (with the remainder juice, freeze cubes for future micellar waters. Drink the rest according to instructions, it’s SUPER healthy)
- 1 teaspoon coco glucoside (a mild soapy agent)
- Mix all ingredients together in a clean bottle.
That’s it!! It couldn’t be easier! Now, applying everything as a cleanser:
- Apply a generous amount of your lovely DIY micellar water to a cotton pad.
- Gently sweep the pad across your face, paying extra attention to areas with makeup or dirt buildup.
- Rinse your face with lukewarm water to remove any residue.
- Follow up with your toner.

- You can make “fresh toner” daily, or keep in the fridge for 3 days

- Pour a small amount of rosewater onto a cotton pad.

- No need to rinse! Simply follow up with your moisturiser.

MY RECOMMENDED EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL. You can use for cooking as well! Good olive oil doesn’t have to come in small expensive looking packages. This one will be more than good for your skin, trust me!
