Self-care is incredibly important.
It is imperative to stop and take the time to “restore, renew, and refresh”. It is also necessary to make more time for yourself so you’re not feeling burnt out.
In fact, my life changed for the better when I implemented many of the self-care ideas offered below. It wasn’t until I put myself first that I really learned how to love, appreciate and value myself.
No matter how successful, busy or stressed you are, you MUST make time in your day to work on you.
Whether you are just starting to go through the self-care routine, or if you are already a seasoned pro, these 76 self-care ideas will transform your life.

Some of The Best Self-Care Ideas of 2022
1. Hug Someone at Least Once a Week
Hugs are the best. When you hug someone, it is like sending a message to your body that you care about them and you’re happy with them.
Hugging someone for no other reason than because you love them, will also help to reduce stress.
It gives your mind a break and helps refresh your mind as well as reduce anxiety and depression.
So next time you see your friends, family or spouse, stop by their desk or grab them in the hallway, hug them without actually hugging them.
2. Say “No” More Often, Try Starting Today
I am a huge fan of “no”. I say it all the time.
“No, I won’t do that. No, I don’t have time to do that. No, I can’t get involved in this.”
One of the best self-care ideas is to stop and say no when you need to. Say no when you are asked to do something you don’t want to do or something that will not benefit your life or career.
3. Siestas (Power Naps) are the New Pajamas
I have heard many people say that they don’t have time to go home and take a nap, but if you are feeling hopeless and need to feel rejuvenated, why not?
For those of you who don’t what a power nap is, simply put, it is a short, restorative sleep.
You can take these anywhere and they are great if you’ve been studying all day or if you’re having a stressful day at work.
It’s best to take a power nap when you can relax. I personally prefer a power nap on the couch with my eyes closed.
4. Cook a Meal From Scratch
I cook meals from scratch almost every day – I’ve learnt to keep it simple, avoid canned foods as much as possible and I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve when it comes to preparing dishes that are quick to make.
But it wasn’t always like that. Being efficient in the kitchen while preparing something nutritious, healthy AND tasty is something I’ve learned to hone over time.
There are so many benefits to cooking your own food, the simplest being that you know exactly what’s in the food you’re eating.
It’s also great if you want to try a new recipe or if you’re always being asked by friends or family to try something they’ve cooked.
I’m currently enjoying all the benefits of cooking my own meals, including harvesting from my yard, which is absolutely wonderful and I recommend that everyone grows their own food (even if it’s a small herb garden or single plant)
Cooking is a self-care idea that works for me.
5. Play Your Favorite Music and then Sing
Singing is one of the most fun self-care ideas.
Singing not only makes you feel good but it’s a great way to relieve stress and anxiety.
Take a few minutes out of your day and sing like you’ve never done it before.
And if you’re feeling a little silly, that’s okay too – it’s all part of the fun.
6. Bring Back a Good Memory and Smile
It’s amazing how wonderful it feels to go back in time and recall a memory that’s full of joy and happiness.
A fun self-care idea is to think about an experience that made you happy, make a mental note of it, and then when you’re feeling down or having a bad day, just think about that great time!
You can also write down your favourite memories in a journal, create a scrapbook of the happy times you’ve had so far or turn them into a bullet journal (here are my selection of best pens for bullet journal) or even work on your own manifestation journal to make sure you create good memories in the future. In this article, I made it easy for you to find the best manifestation journal.
7. Stop Holding Back Those Tears, Let Them Flow Freely
If there’s one thing I’ve learnt over the years, it’s that you do not have to hold back your tears.
When you feel like crying, DO IT. Don’t hold back. It will be okay once your body has released this energy.
Sometimes I feel sad or nervous and it doesn’t take much to make me cry – I simply think about my dad who has left us and then, sometimes, I cry in silence.
8. Give Yourself a Mini Massage
Self-massages are so good for you.
Some people use it for relaxation, pain relief and to improve body movement, but it’s also a great self-care idea if you need to wake up a little more.
Give yourself a mini back rub and you will feel amazing! Some of the places I like to massage are my neck, shoulders and my feet.
9. Change Your Phone Background to One of Your Favorite Pictures from Your Early Years
When you look at your phone, is it something that makes you smile?
It could be a photo of you and your friends as a kid, a picture of the places you like to visit or even a picture of yourself as an adult.
Choose one and change your phone background to it. Give your phone a bit more personality and keep it bright. Make sure you select a picture that is colourful and fun. I love all my photos from my childhood because they make me think about how happy I was back then.
10. Today, Have a “No Judgement Day”
“Judgement Day” is the day you say to yourself that you are going to treat yourself well, no matter what anyone else might think.
Don’t try to be someone that you’re not. Be confident in who you are and have fun doing the things that make YOU happy. #SELF-CARE
It’s very important for your self-care to have a “no judgement day”.
11. Say “I Love You” and Do It Often
It’s extremely important that you tell your family members and friends that you love them often.
But this is even more important if you’re single and thinking about taking the next step in your relationship.
Tell your partner that you love them and tell them often.
“If you love someone, be prepared to say it – often.”
Learn to appreciate every little thing they do for you, tell them how much they mean to you and make sure they know that they are loved. And never stop showing them how much they mean to you.
Say it as much as possible. It is worth it.
12. Try Something New for a Day, We All Have Time for That
If you’re not feeling like doing something new today, then try anyway.
You can always make it an adventure by doing something you’ve never done before.
If you live in a big city, then try to meet people you’ve never met before. If you live in the country and have no one to go with, then take your dog for a walk or play golf on the weekend if it’s easy for you to do so. Anything you’ve never dared to try before can be fun and it’s perfectly okay if you don’t succeed at doing something new.
Try to avoid judging yourself. Everyone has days when they’re not feeling like trying out something new. You should just make the most of your day and do things that you’ve never done before because you deserve it.
“We all have time for something new.”
That’s what self-care is all about: making the best of each day, no matter what your life circumstances might be.
13. Don’t Take Everything Personally, It’s Not You, It’s Them
I’ve said this before but it’s important for your self-care to learn how to take things reasonably and not personally.
Sometimes we like someone and then, later on, they hurt us, or we hurt them in some way. But that doesn’t mean it means that they don’t like us or that we’re not really worth their time.
It’s about time you stopped making the mistake of thinking that everything someone does or says is about YOU. It’s about them, not about you. So just be kind to yourself and move on because you’re worth it.
Don’t take things personally and learn how to keep your guard up.
14. Avoid Food and Drink That Causes Stress
Stress is one of the most unpleasant feelings that I can think of. It’s not great for you, it makes you unhappy and it breaks down your immune system.
I’ve noticed over the years how stressed I used to feel. How? Because nowadays I don’t. This means I didn’t notice the stress in the past, it was just there, all the time, like background noise.
A 100% stress-free life is possible. Yes, every now and then there might be that feeling of anxiety (things do happen in life and they can be stressful) but my default is stress-free. I’m telling you this because it is possible to live this way.
Some of the foods and drinks that cause the most stress are pastries, confectionery, chocolate, alcohol (both beer and wine) and caffeine.
15. Breathe Deeply and “Paint Your Mind” With New Things To Do
One of the ways you can try to take your mind off things or just relax is by breathing deeply.
The air you breathe in gives you oxygen and that oxygen makes it possible for your body and brain to function better.
There should be two parts: Inhale, hold and exhale, and hold. Just try it, you might find it calming.
16. Power Down a Few Minutes Before Bedtime
The way we feel at the end of the day depends, amongst other things, on how much sleep we’ve had. When you’re tired, you don’t switch off, so you keep thinking about everything that happened all day or that you think will happen the day after.
If you get too little sleep, try to power down or close your eyes for around twenty minutes before bedtime. It will help you to switch off and it’s one of the best things you can do for yourself. It is the simple things that make the biggest difference at times.
17. Get Some “Me Time”
Have you ever had a day where you’re going from one meeting to another, where you have to do this and that and everything in between?
Of course, most of us have had a day like this. And it’s kind of normal to feel tired after such a busy day. But if that’s the case, then maybe there’s been too little “ME-TIME”. ‘Me time’ means doing something that is just for YOU or just about YOU.
18. Practice Gratitude
Show gratitude to the people around you and be grateful for your family and friends.
Be grateful for the food you eat and be grateful that you’re alive.
Give thanks to Goddess or whatever higher power you believe in, but always show gratitude in your life.
What are the things that you are truly grateful for?
If you can’t think of anything right away, be grateful that you are starting to think about it.
“Gratitude is the greatest of all blessings.” – Patri Hernandez, ohmightyhealth.com
INSPIRING: Why do I want to show gratitude? It’s because a grateful heart gives you strength and we all need that strength from time to time. Check out my 17+ best gratitude journal article, I’m sure you’ll find the perfect one for you.
19. Today, Do a Random Act of Kindness for Someone Else
Today is the day that you will do a random act of kindness for someone else. Maybe you’ll find a dollar note on the street, then maybe it’s time to give it to someone who is less fortunate than yourself. Or maybe it’s time to talk to someone who sits alone in a café, or smile at people in the street and wish them a good day.
It might be difficult for you to come up with something on your own, so why not ask your friends on Facebook or Twitter?
The thing is that we’re all in this together. Everybody can do kindness and everybody should do kindness.
20. Bring Back the “BackRub”
That’s right – give your loved ones a backrub. It’s a nice little thing to do for someone you love.
Sometimes we don’t even know how to say thanks for the things that others have done for us, but this little gesture can go a long way!
So, if you’re happy to give someone a backrub or give someone a hug, then why not start now?
“The World needs more backrubs.” – Patri Hernandez
21. Learn to Say No
Saying no is hard for many of us. It’s hard because we might fear offending someone or someone might take it the wrong way.
Saying no should be seen as a good thing because it means that you’re in charge of your own life. You only have one life and you need to spend that time wisely.
If there’s something you don’t want to do, then why not say NO?
Learn how to say No with confidence.
22. Drown Out the Mental Noise
Don’t let your mind be cluttered with thoughts.
You can’t be in two places at once and if you keep thinking about the things that you don’t want to think about, then those thoughts will stay in your head and it’s hard to think clearly.
So, how do you get rid of all this mental noise? Watch the space between thoughts so you can be in the silence.
“Silence fills the silence.” – Patri Hernandez, ohmightyhealth.com
23. Make a Conscious Effort to Be Kind
Whether you’re training with your friends or resting at home, think of ways that you can be kind to others.
You know what’s bad? Being kind only when you want to be or when it’s convenient for you.
Be kind all the time, be kind to yourself and be kind to others.
Think about being in a relationship with someone who is eternally happy and grateful in life? Yes, that’s what I mean! Clear your mind of negativity and fill it up with positive thoughts.
24. Make Sure It Is “You Time” by Turning off Your Phone
Reaching out and touching another person (or feeling the presence of another person) can make all the difference.
When you’re with your friends or family, but you’re not really doing anything together, then it’s time to reach out and touch someone. It is a time to connect with others, it is a time to share feelings and thoughts.
25. Learn Something New Every Day
It’s never too late to learn something new and there are always opportunities to learn something new.
Maybe it’s time to take up a new hobby or maybe it’s time for a new challenge in your business or career.
The important thing is that you’re learning something every day because you can never know too much.
“Learning anything is better than not learning at all.”
26. Use a Music Alarm to Help You Wake Up in the Morning
Sure, it’s fun to wake up to the sound of music playing in the morning, but that’s not the best way to start your day.
A music alarm will set off a quiet playlist of your favourite tunes so that you can wake up gently, ready to face the day.
27. Be You, Be Free, Be Happy
We’ve all been there and it’s really hard. We start out with high hopes, but sometimes it can end up being a major bummer.
But maybe this should be a reminder to you that you need to love yourself and feel happy in your own skin.
Never look down on yourself, because the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.
28. Join the #Squad
Sometimes we need a squad, because life can be scary and overwhelming sometimes.
It’s hard to go through major changes alone, but it is possible to go through the changes in life with the support of your friends and family.
The important thing here is not how many friends you have, but how supportive those friends are and how much they care about you.
So stop looking for more friends and start having meaningful conversations with your existing friends.
29. Pick a New Color and Wear It Every Day
Think about that new shirt that you want to buy. It’s something special, isn’t it? You’ll wear it for a little bit, then you’ll get bored of it and move on.
Here’s a tip: Buy a color that you’re likely to wear often. Pick a new colour every day and go with the flow…
30. Break a Bad Habit
If there’s something that’s been holding you back, then now is the time to change.
It’s never too late to make a change in your life, so figure out what it is that you want to change and then go for it.
“When you make a decision, the universe conspires to make it happen.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
31. Silence the Overthinking Voice in Your Head
Overthinking is just wasting time and overthinking can cause anxiety and stress, which isn’t good for anyone.
So, how do you silence your overthinking voice? This is going to sound strange, but you need to be aware of the voice in your head. This would automatically place you in an observing position, which is a “safe space” from the voice itself. While you observe the voice, it can’t hurt you. At least you don’t become it, you’re aware of it, you can watch it and let it go.
The next step is to find out what emotional effect these thoughts have on you. You simply have to ask yourself, “What feelings do these thoughts create?” Being aware of the thoughts and feelings is what mindfulness is all about.
Mindfulness training helps you be more focused, alert and alive.
32. Get Rid of a Toxic Person in Your Life – Fast!
It’s really hard to cut out toxic people in your life because they make you feel bad about yourself and they make you feel like you’re not good enough.
It’s time to look at things the other way around – what do you have to lose by eliminating toxic people from your life?
Do yourself a huge favor and get rid of the toxic person in your life as soon as possible.
33. Make Sure to Have Some “Me Time” Every Day
It’s so easy to get caught up with work and responsibilities, but you do need some time for yourself.
Take some time to pursue your interests, take a walk or just think about things by yourself. This is your time and it’s the only way that you can make sure that you’re not burning out in life.
Be sure to schedule personal development into your daily routine. Schedule “me time” into your daily schedule so that it becomes a natural part of your day.
34. Put Yourself First
The most important relationship that you have is with yourself, so take some time to be alone every day.
Sometimes it takes a tragedy or a crisis to make us realize that we need to put our own needs first in order to be happy.
If you don’t take time for yourself you will burn out.
Also, if you don’t learn how to say no, you will never learn how to say yes.
35. Do Something Nice for Someone Who Doesn’t Expect It
Does it feel good to go out and do something nice for someone in need?
Sometimes when we do good things, others are inspired to do good things.
Your actions have an impact on the world around you, so make sure that what you’re doing is making a positive impact on other people’s lives.
36. Do the Opposite of What You Feel Like Doing
If you feel like watching TV, go for a walk. If you feel like going out to eat, cook at home. If you feel like sleeping in, get up and get active.
Sometimes it feels good to do things that make you feel uncomfortable because this is how we grow and improve ourselves.
You’re not doing this for anyone else but yourself so make sure that it feels good for you to do the opposite of what your feelings tell you to do.
Try this out today:
1) Stop doing what you’re feeling like doing.
2) Go outside and go for a walk.
3) Prepare a healthy snack and eat it in the park on your lunch break.
37. Stop Being So Hard on Yourself
Don’t beat yourself up for the things that you can’t do. Do what you can and let the rest go.
If you need to be hard on yourself, then go ahead and do it, but don’t be hard on yourself for being hard on yourself.
Be gentle with your words, there might be other people who are hard enough on you as it is. Be kind to yourself, like a parent would be with a child and always look out for your own best interests.
38. Learn to Forgive and Let Go of Grievances
There’s no use in holding on to the past. Even if you wish that things could’ve been different, you can’t change your past.
What’s important is how you can make improvements for the future, so forgive and let go of your past and then go out there and make something special for the future of your life.
“Forgiveness is a funny thing. It warms the heart and cools the sting.” – William Arthur Ward
39. Your Future is Not Your Past
So many people get stuck in life because they can’t let go of their past.
How we live in the past is not how we should live our lives. Make a change and focus on what you have to do today, this hour, this minute and this moment in your life.
There are countless opportunities out there for you to take advantage of, but you need to focus on the present moment. The future is not your past so don’t let it control your decisions.
If you’re worried about what happened in the past, then learn now to focus on the present and move forward.
40. Forgive Yourself for Past Mistakes, It’s the Only Way to Move Forward
It’s so easy to beat yourself up for the past, but this is also a waste of your time and energy.
If you’re feeling stuck in your life, forgive yourself for any mistakes that you may have made in the past. You can’t live here anymore so it’s time to make a change.
You can’t move forward if you’re constantly living through the past. Therefore, forgive yourself for what you’ve done and then go out there and create something special for your future.
41. Go on a Journaling Journey
Go on a journaling journey and document your progress over time. (Here’s a brilliant article on how to journal, don’t skimp it, in my opinion, it is well worth the read and time).
What you write down in your journal becomes a permanent record of your life.
It’s fun to go back and read over the things that you’ve written about certain events in your life.
Make it fun! The more positive things that you write, the more positive things will most probably happen to you.
42. Learn Something New Every Day
In life, you can learn something new every day.
Even if you’re already very experienced, there are always things that you can learn from others that can make your life better.
Learn the art of listening to what people say and then learning how to use their advice to make your life better. There’s nothing wrong with learning something new every day in order to improve yourself.
43. Eat More Fruits and Veggies During the Holidays
The holiday season is always a great time to start eating more fruits and vegetables.
The holidays are always a lot of fun but they can also be very stressful, especially for those who don’t eat healthily.
Make sure that you’re eating a lot of fruits and vegetables every day to keep your blood sugar from spiking. A spike in blood sugar can cause you to feel tired, depressed and irritable.
Eating more fruits and vegetables will help you maintain a healthy diet that will help you feel energized during the holidays. You’ll feel much better and have much more energy when you eat this way.
44. Fall Back in Love With Your Spouse (or Yourself)
It is always a great time to fall back in love with your spouse or your significant other.
Spend some time together doing things that you both enjoy, even if it’s just going out for a walk at night or cooking a meal together.
At times, life can be so busy and stressful that it’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle. Take some time to reconnect with your loved ones by doing special things together, just for fun.
46. Create Your Own Self-Care Ritual
It’s important to self-cure.
Many of us have trouble finding time for ourselves so we tend to go to the doctor or the pharmacy when we need something.
When you’re feeling down or have some kind of a problem, it helps to create your own self-care ritual: you can exercise, meditate, bathe and eat healthy meals. Find a new way of reducing stress in your life through something that is enjoyable and relaxing. This will help you feel better right away.
47. Get Fit (or Stay Fit) with a Personal Trainer
Many people are having trouble staying in shape so they can’t find the time to exercise and eat healthy meals.
If you’re one of those people, then it might be a good idea to work with a personal trainer who will make sure that you’re eating healthy meals.
Exercise is important for everyone so try exercising with a personal trainer who will make sure that you get your workouts in often and take care of your body.
48. Start a New Hobby and Make it Something You Truly Enjoy
It’s always a great time to start a new hobby and make it something that you truly enjoy.
Having hobbies is good for the soul because it helps bring you pleasure and satisfaction, which is good for keeping your spirits up.
When you’re feeling down or stressed out, finding a hobby that you really enjoy will help you escape from all of your problems. Your new hobby will give you pleasure, excitement and fulfilment.
50. Stop Using Your Phone as a Distraction and More of a Tool
A phone is a tool, not a distraction.
With the influx of technology, smartphones have become part of our everyday lives.
If you’ve been using your phone as a distraction to block out everything else in your world, then it’s time to start using it as a tool to help you feel better about yourself.
Learn how to use your phone for more than just distractions; learn how to use it for productivity and fun and then take the time to stop overusing it.
52. Don’t Buy Anything Until You’ve Had Time to “Prepare” for It
With all of the new things that we have to buy, it’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle at times.
The more things you buy, the more money you spend.
Until you’ve had time to “prepare yourself,” then it’s probably not a good idea to start buying those things.
Start your shopping season around November or December before the holidays so that you can give yourself time to plan and shop for all of those wonderful gifts.
54. Make Lists and Plan Ahead
Make a list of all of the things that you have to do over the next few weeks, months or even years.
Actively plan for what will happen in your life and make sure that those plans are realistic. If you really do have to take care of yourself, then make sure that you’re doing so in a healthy way.
Take some time and make a list of all of the things that you have to do: it will help you stay organized and focused on your priorities.
58. Meditate Every Night
If you’ve always wanted to meditate and have problems getting started, then it’s time to start.
When you meditate, you’ll be able to clear your mind and relax after a stressful day or a really long day at work.
You will become more aware of how your body feels when you start meditating; you’ll learn how to better control your body, emotions and mind so that you can live a happier life.
Meditation is good for the soul and helps you feel good about yourself.
59. Explore Your Spiritual Side
If you want to be spiritual, then take the time to explore your spiritual side.
It’s good for your mind, body and soul to get closer to something that is beyond what you see every day.
There are a lot of ways to explore your spiritual side: it can be through meditation, prayer or just time alone with yourself. It’s important to have that special time away from the real world so that you can appreciate the things around you.
60. We Are All Human and We Will All Fail, Forgive Yourself and Move Forward
We all make mistakes.
Mistakes come with doing new things, trying new things and exploring new horizons.
We all fail, for that matter.
If you feel like you are failing, then forgive yourself and move forward.
If you don’t fail or make mistakes, then chances are that you won’t learn to make better choices or get closer to becoming the person that you want to be.
61. Show Up When You’re Tired, Willing Is the Hardest Part
Get out of the habit of constantly trying to do things when you’re tired, unwilling or unable because this will hurt your chances of success.
There’s nothing wrong with being tired or having some free time: it’s good to take a break every now and then.
However, if you want to learn how to be successful, then you need to show up for yourself when you’re tired, willing and able. There’s nothing wrong with taking a break from work if it allows you more time for yourself.
62. Don’t Let Your Ego Get in the Way of Appreciation
Your ego is good when you’re showing appreciation to people, but it’s not good if it gets in the way of your goal. Then it can get vicious.
It’s important to have an ego, as this is how we can experience the world, but make sure that you don’t let your ego get in the way of showing appreciation to others. A little ego can be a good thing but sometimes too much can have a negative impact.
Try giving a compliment every once in a while to those around you because this will promote self-esteem and build positive relationships with others.
63. Learn to Accept a Gift With Gratitude and Respect
When you’re given a gift, it’s important to accept that gift and thank the person who gave it to you. It doesn’t matter if the gift is small or large, it’s just important that you show gratitude and respect.
You’ll learn to appreciate things around you when you learn to accept gifts.
64. Don’t Judge Others Without Taking a Closer Look at Yourself
When we’re putting other people down, we never take the time to look at our own actions.
Don’t judge others unless you know what you’re talking about: keep a positive attitude.
You’ll start to mature when you take the time to look at yourself and see how you really are in comparison to those around you.
If someone is judging others, then listen intently as these are people who will eventually expose their own flaws.
65. Take Time to “Get Away” From It All for a Moment
When you “get away” from it all for a moment you can appreciate the things that you have.
If you want to become successful, then stop and take a moment to take in the beauty of nature or just simply enjoy a good book. It’s about appreciating what’s around you.
Try finding time to get up and go outside on your lunch break in order to take some time for yourself.
66. Make Time for Yourself and Get Outside Your Comfort Zone
The more you make time for yourself, the happier you will be.
Being happy is one of the most important things that you’ll have to learn in your life. Just like everything else, happiness will be a process.
That feeling of happiness is not only a choice but it’s also something that we can all achieve.
67. Take a Cold Shower to Release Stress and Tension
The best way to release the stresses of the day is to take a cold shower. It’s easy, takes less than five minutes and it will help you release the stress that was built up throughout the day.
A cold shower has a calming effect on your body and mind: it helps you to get rid of all of that tension.
68. Have More Fun with Your Partner by Letting Go Roadblocks
If you want to have more fun with your partner, then let go of roadblocks.
Roadblocks keep you from having fun and being happy. They prevent you from being in the moment and enjoying yourself.
Don’t let roadblocks get in the way of your happiness: it’s important to be able to let go of distractions that will keep you from having a good time.
69. Create a Mantra That Represents Your Ideal Self
Create a mantra that represents your ideal self.
It’s important to be able to think about yourself in order to know that you’re on the right path. When you remind yourself of who you want to be, it’s easier to continue moving forward.
Say your mantra out loud every day in order to transform into your ideal self or create a symbol or picture that resembles your ideal self.
70. Listen to Your Favorite Music and Dance Like Nobody is Watching
Remember to turn off your mind, stop trying to control yourself and just listen to your favorite music and dance like nobody is watching.
This will help you put things into perspective: the more you let go, the better you’ll feel about yourself.
Dancing can help you forget about everything else for a few minutes and just feel positive energy flow through your body.
71. Make Time to Solve the Problems You Created
If you want to be successful, then you have to make time for the problems that you created. Make a point to solve these problems as soon as possible.
The sooner you solve these problems, the more progress you will make towards your goals: it’s about taking care of yourself.
It’s important to take care of yourself so that you can take care of everyone else. You’re worth taking good care of and others need your love and support too.
72. Remember, the More Important You Make Yourself, The More Successful You’ll Be
Remember to make yourself the most important person in your life.
You’re worth taking good care of and others need your love and support too. Learn to make yourself worthy of this love and support by honoring yourself.
Don’t take anything personally and don’t make being busy your excuse. Be happy: be present and have fun. Being happy is an experience that everyone can have.
73. Don’t Forget to Put First Loving Yourself and Feeling Good Within
The feeling of loving yourself and being good within should be a priority.
When you look within, you’ll see that you have so much to offer to others. You’re worth loving, you’re good within and you’re capable of so many positive things, so don’t forget this.
Don’t just focus on others, look inside yourself and learn to be your own best friend.
The more confident and alive you are, the better your life will be: it’s about believing in yourself.
74. Think About What is Really Going to Help You Get Where You Want To Be in Life
The more you think about what is really going to help you get where you want to be in life, the closer you’ll get to your goals.
Remember to trust your gut instinct when it comes to the things that are really important. The more confident that you are, the better chance that you’ll have of reaching your goals and being successful.
It’s easier said than done but it’s important not to give up and keep moving forward no matter what happens along life’s journey.
When it’s time to pause, take a moment to think about what’s really going to help you get where you want to be in life.
Don’t forget it, don’t let anything distract you, and don’t give up: all of your success is within reach.
75. Make a List of Your Favorite 3 Things
Make a list of your favorite 3 things.
List your favorite things in life: write about the people, activities and places that you love.
Remember to let go of negative energy. Not everyone is going to like you, not everyone will approve of your dreams and not everyone will accept you for who you are: that’s OK.
Don’t take anything personally and don’t make being busy your excuse. Just remember that self-love is the ultimate form of acceptance and approval.
76. Take Time to Reflect on Your Day
Take time to reflect on your day before you go to bed.
This quiet time gives you the opportunity to make sure that everything is in order so that you can start your day off on the right foot. It also gives you an opportunity to learn more about yourself.
When you take time to reflect on your day, not only will it help you get more done, but it’ll also help you gain clarity and peace of mind.
Form the Habit of Taking Care of Yourself
In the midst of a busy day, it can be hard to remember how important self-care is.
This list can help you form the habit of taking care of yourself in small ways, every day.
The more you practice self-care, the more you will begin to value yourself and also feel happier and healthier as a result.
